BRMS Guitar theory 2: notes on the fretboard
This lesson takes the note circle from the previous lesson, and applies it to the guitar fretboard. We learn how to name the frets on the guitar by counting up the note circle.

In this lesson we learn how to memorize and find the notes on the low E string more quickly so that we can use it to help us name barre chords and power chords. It also prepares us for quickly finding all the other notes on the fretboard which we will learn in the next lesson.

This lesson expands on what we learned in the previous one by helping us memorize the notes on the A string. With both the E and A strings memorized, we will also learn how to use octaves to quickly find the note names for frets on the remaining strings.
